Stakeholders consultations - third round in Sopot

The third round of stakeholder consultations took place at IOPAN in Sopot on 16th February 2026.

The meeting lead by HuFoSS brought together stakeholders and project partners to test the interactive marine tools developed in the MARBEFES project. The tools that tave been discussed were based on feedback collected during the first two consultation rounds. Participants had the opportunity to see the tools first-hand, explore their practical applications, and assess how they can support work in management, policy-making, and environmental protection. The consultation concluded with a structured feedback collection session and a networking lunch, creating space for additional exchange of ideas and strengthening cooperation between stakeholders.

This third round of consultations marked an important step in refining and validating the tools, ensuring they are practical, user-friendly, and ready for application. Together, participants contributed to transforming ideas to solutions for the benefit of marine environments and local communities.
